A town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Tulum is a vibrant and beautiful city.  It’s known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. In addition to the beaches, ruins, and beautiful weather, Tulum has lush jungles, cenotes (caves or sinkholes filled with crystal-clear waters), gorgeous lagoons and upscale nightlife.

Because Tulum is still basically a village, it’s a lot closer to its roots than other popular locations on the Mayan Riviera.
