This tour was so amazing and I felt like we really got a chance to take as many pictures as possible. Our tour guide was phenomenal and was super knowledgeable about the Colosseum. She was so patient as well as some of the tour guests couldn’t walk as fast to keep up. I definitely recommend this tour to all!
I had a great time and the tour guide (Alessia) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is the second tour I had with Fat Tire Tours within a 5 day period. The other was in Florence and my guide for that tour (Christina) was equally fantastic, friendly and informative – not only about the tour itself, but both guides offered great advice and tips on Italian culture. They truly enjoy what they do and it really shows.
Rome felt huge compared to the other cities in Italy we visited. We decided that a good way to see the sights and get a feel for the layout of the city would be by bike on our first day in Rome. Our tour guide Christian, a local Roman, was delightful and very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. He took us to all the main sights (Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi, the Colosseum, Circus Maximus) and to a few of the smaller places since we were a smaller tour group. We had our 11-year old daughter with us and the tour was well paced for her riding abilities. The bikes are comfortable, even on the rough cobblestone roads of Rome. The tour was a highlight of the trip!
Lucia was a fantastic guide – we did this on our first morning in Rome. It gave us a good grasp of all the main attractions and helped us decide where and where not to go. I would highly recommend. There were 3 of us in our family group – 2 adults and an 11 year old – we all enjoyed it.

Loved this tour. Helpful, relaxed atmosphere and the cycling was stress free and moderate in effort. Chris was a friendly knowledgeable guide. Full of information and happy to answer questions. He even helped us with our plans for the rest of our day. Would definitely recommend 😀 👍
A must do in Rome. The Segways enables us to cover lots of ground with ease. Our guide Livia was friendly, very informative and her instruction and diligence when using the Segways was spot on.

We enjoyed seeing Rome from the Segway and went to places we would have not gone on foot. I have an 18 year old daughter, the segways made sight seeing exciting! Our guide spoke perfect english and was very fun and interesting!

My friend and I had one day in Rome and wanted to see as much as possible. A bike tour is the perfect way to get a quick overview of the city and see many of its highlights quickly. I visited Italy for a month earlier this year and spent some time in Florence and Rome. I went on the food tour in Florence, the wine experience in Rome and the bike tour in both cities. All of these were incredible and I am so grateful I did! Was the best way to see any city and feel the true Italian culture with the most talented local guides in the world. Its a must!
