Bike through Perth

The incredible cycle paths that line the South Perth foreshore are the stars of this tour. We will enjoy these dedicated bike trails and no inclines as we see the city from afar, ride over the famous Matagarup bridge in East Perth, stop for an amazing photo opportunity of the Optus Stadium, and discover the wetlands and parklands of Perth. This three-hour tour is the best of both worlds; the highlights of the city of Perth plus the nature that lies just beyond its borders.

Are helmets required?

Yes, helmets are required by Australian law, and we provide them free of charge. They are sanitized before and after each use.

Can I store my luggage at your office during the tour?

Absolutely!

How long is the ride?

The total distance covered is around 10 miles/16 kilometers, however we maintain a leisurely pace throughout the tour. We’ll also stop for a break about mid-way through the ride.

Is the cycling difficult?

This tour is the easiest of our three as there are no inclines, dedicated cycle paths throughout, and relatively little traffic. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who is nervous about cycling or perhaps hasn’t ridden a bike in a few years.

Is this tour kid-friendly?

The smallest bikes we have available are perfect for anyone at least 5 ft/155cm tall. As there are no inclines on this tour, it’s a great option for anyone with lower fitness level or children who may get tired after pedaling for long stretches, however we do ask that your everyone be comfortable riding a bike. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to us in advance.

What are your covid polices?

All of our equipment is regularly sanitized, and we will follow local government restrictions and regulations in terms of group sizes, social distancing, and masks. If you are at all concerned, feel free to reach out to us in advance.

What is included in the tour?

We provide the bike, helmet, knowledgable local guide, and about 3 hours of guided touring. Any food/drink purchased during the break are not included in the tour price, nor is water or rain gear. We recommend that guests bring a bit of cash along should they wish to purchase refreshments during the break.

What kind of bikes will we be riding?

We use comfortable, city-style step-through-framed bikes, meaning it’s easy to get on and off the bike and remain upright while riding, so as to enjoy the sites. The seats are adjustable for anyone who is at least 5 ft/155cm tall.

What should I bring?

It can get very hot in Perth, so protection from the sun is a must. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat/sunglasses, and dressing appropriately for the weather. We also recommend bringing a full bottle of water; you will have a basket on your bike to carry it along with small bags or other personal belongings.
