  • If your group is larger than 15 guests, please contact us at groups@unlimitedbiking.com
  • All riders must be at least 14 years of age, as required by law in Italy.
  • All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and carry proof of age documentation. There may be a mix of eBikes and standard bikes on this tour.
  • All guests must be able to ride a bicycle on their own
  • Child equipment like tag-a-longs cannot be attached to an eBike for safety
  • Pregnant women are strongly discouraged from joining bike tours due to cobbled streets
  • All of our tours operate rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office free of cost.
  • Please provide one credit card and one government-issued ID to be retained as a deposit for the duration of the tour
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

Where is the meeting point?

The tour meets at Via Falcone 7, 20123 Milan.

We are close to the red metro stop M1 – DUOMO (3 minute walk) and the yellow metro stop M3 – MISSORI (5 minute walk). We are between the Poke shop and the Pizzeria, under the arcades.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Yes, our tours typically only operate with 2 guests or more. If you are a solo traveler, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team to check if other guests have booked on the date of your choice.  Please contact sales@unlimitedbiking.com for any specific requirements or customisation.

Is this tour appropriate for children?

All riders must be at least 14 years of age, as required by law in Italy. If you have children under the age of 14, we recommend our Highlights of Milan Bike Tour.

Do we go inside the museums and monuments?

Unfortunately, we won’t have enough time during this three-hour bike tour to allow everyone to enter the various museums. We will, however, provide you with the best information to go back and see the places that interest you most, including the history of the famous artists, architects, and scholars who contributed to the beautiful sites that we’ll see throughout Florence.

Can I join the tour if I am pregnant?

Pregnant women are strongly discouraged from joining bike tours due to cobbled streets.

Is a helmet included? Do I have to wear one?

Helmets are provided, however in Italy adults are not compelled by law to wear a helmet. We have helmets of all sizes available in our office.

Studies have shown that helmets can reduce head injuries by at least 85%.

General Tour Questions

How long before my tour should I arrive?

The tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows after tour commencement or departure.

Are reservations required?

Yes, reservations are required for all tours. If you don’t have a reservation, we still encourage you to swing by our office, located at Via dei Cimatori, 9R 50122 Firenze and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

What is your weather policy? What if it rains?

Our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly.

In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available in Italy.

Is this tour offered in any other languages, or only English?

All scheduled tours are in English, but private tours can sometimes be scheduled in other languages, given we have a tour guide who speaks the language of your choice.
