  • This is not a family-friendly tour as we only have adult-sized bikes available.  We recommend checking out our Bordeaux Highlights Bike Tour if you’re traveling with younger riders.
  • Please note that our minimum group size for this tour is 4 guests. If your party smaller, you are welcome to place a booking request, however we reserve the right to adjust or cancel your booking based on other interest.
  • Safety is our top priority, so helmets will be provided for a worry-free and secure tour.
  • Guests will enjoy the comfort of exploring Saint-Emilion’s vineyards on our premium E-bikes, complete with convenient side bags for their
    belongings.
  • Our expert guide will lead guests on an immersive journey, uncovering Saint-Emilion’s captivating history, architecture, and delightful wine
    secrets.
  • As part of the tour, guests will indulge in two different wine tasting experiences at delightful family-owned wineries.
  •  Additionally, guests will be treated to a delightful three-course meal featuring a starter, main course, and dessert. This offer includes
    the “market menu”, excluding wine and drinks, at a local restaurant.
  • To ensure a seamless experience, guests will embark on a comfortable transfer from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion in a brand-new hybrid Berlinger
    car, allowing for a scenic journey through Bordeaux’s backcountry.

Where is the meeting point?

This tour departs from the Château Soutard, located at Soutard, 33330 Saint-Émilion.

What is your cancellation policy?

We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour* Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.

Are helmets mandatory?

No, but they are provided for those who wish to use one.

Can I leave the tour early?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special requests like this on our public tours. Once the tour begins we ask that you stay with the guide and the group until the end. If you’re interested in something shorter, please inquire about a private tour.

How big is the group?

We ask for a minimum of 2 guests per departure and can accommodate up to 10 guests in one group.

How long is the tour?

This is a full-day excursion; expect to be gone for about eight hours. We’ll cover 15 miles/ 25 kilometers. We ask that you have a moderate physical fitness level in order to maintain a leisurely pace with the rest of the group over the course of the day.

Is there a place to store luggage during the tour?

We do not have a secure lockup for your larger bags at the meeting point, so we ask that you only bring what’s necessary/what you can carry for the tour.

Is this a good tour for kids?

This isn’t a family-friendly tour as the main focus will be the wine tastings. We recommend checking out our ‘Bordeaux Highlights Bike Tour’ if you’re traveling with little ones.

What are your covid policies?

Masks are not required during the tour but we highly recommend bringing one along in the event you’d like to enter a shop. All of our equipment is sanitized before and after each use and we enforce social distancing throughout the tour.

What if it rains?

We will ride in slight rain and we have rain ponchos available for you. In the event of heavy rain/inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule. Cancellation/rescheduling is at our discretion.

What kind of bikes do you use?

We use comfortable Dutch-style city bikes. We only have adult-sized bikes for this tour, and we ask that all guests are at least 5″ (155cm) tall. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not reach the minimum heigh requirement for our bikes.

Which places will we enter?

We will be stopping at a local Bordeaux domain for a wine tasting later in the day, but please note that this tour is more about seeing the Bordeaux countryside and enjoying the outside esthetic of the chateaux & vineyards as we pedal.

Will my bike have a basket?

Yes! Our baskets can accommodate small bags.
