National Theatre

Home to the Bavarian State Opera, Orchestra, and Ballet this imposing building is one of Munich’s finest. Located on Max-Joseph-Platz, it’s one of the premier structures in modern Munich. It burned to the ground in 1818 and later fell victim to an air raid during World War II.
