Come for the mountains and stay for the people.  Or the food, art, architecture; Asheville is a melting pot of culture!  You might find yourself here if you’re hiking the Appalachian trail or visiting Biltmore Estate.  Downtown Asheville has a budding art scene that just may encourage you to stay for a few more days.  Take a stroll through the River Arts District and check our the exhibits from local artists.  The Asheville Art Museum is another must-see spot for the art-inclined.  Plus, their rooftop terrace offers amazing views of the mountains.

Speaking of mountains, you can sign up for a day of zip-lining!  Early fall is the best time; glide through the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy colorful tree tops.
