Chuyến tham quan bắt đầu bằng việc ghé thăm khu phố cổ Monopoli với điểm dừng chân tại Duomo, Nhà thờ chính tòa (Basilica Concattedrale), ngay trước khi hòa mình vào vùng nông thôn Puglia đặc trưng nhất, được bao quanh bởi một biển cây Ô liu và những bức tường đá khô.
Chuyến tham quan tiếp tục khám phá những con đường cũ dẫn đến nhà thờ nông thôn Spirito Santo, nhà thờ ngàn năm tuổi trong hang động này đã được sử dụng từ thế kỷ thứ IX và lưu giữ một số bức bích họa thời Trung cổ. Những cây ô liu với thân xoắn và những trang trại kiên cố (masserie) là biểu hiện của cuộc sống nông thôn quyến rũ và đầy mê hoặc.
Chuyến tham quan kết thúc bằng một chuyến đạp xe thư giãn và nếm thử kem thủ công (sorbetto) tránh xa sự ồn ào của giao thông đô thị.
