Ihr Abenteuer beginnt im Herzen der Altstadt von Lecce, wo wir uns mit E-Bikes auf den Weg machen und friedlichen Landstraßen folgen, gesäumt von Weinbergen, traditionellen Masserien und antiken Olivenhainen.
Unser erster Halt ist auf dem Bauernhof (Pantaleo). Hier probieren Sie Olivenöl und Wein, während Pantaleos Frau uns apulische Snacks serviert.
Der nächste Halt ist Nardò, eine charmante Barockstadt, wo Sie eine entspannende Kaffeepause genießen können. Probieren Sie den berühmten Caffè Leccese – Espresso auf Eis mit Mandelsirup – und Pasticciotto-Gebäck.
Von Nardò fahren wir in Richtung des schimmernden Ionischen Meeres und erreichen das Küstendorf Santa Maria al Bagno, dessen kristallklares Wasser die perfekte Gelegenheit für ein erfrischendes Bad bietet.
Anschließend radeln wir weiter entlang der malerischen Küste – größtenteils auf ausgewiesenen Radwegen – bis wir Gallipoli erreichen, bekannt für seine historische Altstadt, die auf einer Insel liegt und von türkisfarbenem Wasser umgeben ist.
Von Gallipoli bringt Sie ein privates Taxi (inklusive) in etwa 35 Minuten zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Lecce.
