Bordeaux, dünyanın şarap başkenti olmadan çok önce Burdigala olarak anılıyordu. Monsieur Bacchus ile 3 saatte 2.000 yıllık tarihte, burada gerçekten yaşayan bir yerel rehberle bisiklet sürüyorsunuz.
Yaklaşık 13 düz kilometrelik bir rotada, Roma Palais Gallien'den Saint-André Katedrali'ne ve Orta Çağ'dan kalma Grosse Cloche'a pedallıyoruz; burada artisan iş ortağımız Cassonade'den bir canelé molası veriyoruz. UNESCO listesindeki nehir kıyısının en iyi manzarası için Garonne'u Pont de Pierre üzerinden geçiyoruz, sağ yakadaki yaratıcı merkez Darwin'de mola veriyoruz, ardından Chaban-Delmas köprüsünden geri dönerek eski şarap tüccarları mahallesi Chartrons'a gidiyoruz.
