There’s a reason Italy is known worldwide for its cuisine. On this Rome food tour, come discover the traditions, history, and passion behind Roman cuisine. We’ll introduce you to small family-run trattorias and market vendors around the charming neighborhood of Testaccio, and these artisans (and our guides) will share their love of Italian cuisine with you.
We’ll start our morning rubbing elbows with the locals – with a coffee and traditional pastry at a neighborhood bakery. Then we’ll go to the neighborhood market to meet vendors who have had market stalls for 40 years. We’ll try Roman pizza, and of course some artisanal cheese.
No Italian food tour is complete without pasta! We want you to try the three most popular Roman pastas, alongside some more local red wine, while learning about the culture surrounding Italian meals.
