Explore Hawke’s Bay Wineries by bike – a fun SELF-GUIDED cycle ride along dedicated, flat cycle trails to visit Napiers leading wineries for a wine tasting or grab a bite to eat, before heading back to Napier and your start point.
This is a SELF-GUIDED ride - we will give you a map. Allow at least 3 hours for cycling this route with 1-2 winery stops.
NOTE: not all wineries are open everyday, please note winery opening days below.
Your route is on a dedicated cycle pathway (approx 40km/25 miles) 2.5 hours cycling beside the Pacific Ocean to trails through farmland, orchards, river stop banks & estuarys.
Visit wineries/bars along the way: LOOP TRAIL 40km/25miles - wineries along this trail - Brookfields OPEN 7 days, Mission OPEN 7 DAYS, Church Road OPEN 7 DAYS, Urban Winery OPEN Thurs-Sun, the Gin Trap OPEN 7 DAYS.
NOTE you MUST BOOK the wineries, they will always be busy (sometimes SOLD OUT) on cruise days!
