Vanuit Montalbano fietsen we over secundaire wegen met weinig verkeer naar drie verschillende soorten masseria's, elk met een unieke architectuur, type, traditionele activiteiten en huidige economische roeping. De tour gaat langzaam verder over kleine wegen omzoomd met stenen droogmuren, zelden bezochte veepaden en unieke landschappen.
Aan het einde van de tour bezoeken we een olijfoliefabriek om te genieten van een olijfolieproeverij, begeleid door plantaardige producten en traditionele snacks.
