Marrakech Highlights Tour

Starting from our centrally located office, we will help you pick out your bike and make any necessary adjustments.  We work with local youth, teaching them how to fix and maintain bicycles.  It’s just one way that we’re investing in our community, and the result is offering you a top-notch cycle for the tour!

From the medina, we’ll make our way to Gueliz, or the new town.  Along the way, you will have the chance to admire some highlights of the city like the Koutoubia, the Kasbah, and the Agdal gardens.  At each location, your guide will stop to give you insight and answer any questions you have. We’re also including a stop at one of our favorite local bakeries for a special treat.

After exploring the new town, we’ll make our way to a traditional bathhouse called a Hammam.  This is the area where friends and family gather to relax and socialize, and we’ll explain the traditions surrounding it.  Then, we’ll experience the enormous second-hand market and give you some tips and tricks on how to haggle. Finally, we’ll wrap up the tour with a visit to Zaouia de Sidi Bel Abbès where you will see one of the seven Saints of Marrakech. Throughout the tour, we’ll touch on themes such as growing up in Morocco, the importance of the family, and how religion and modernization meet in this city. The tour is a cultural and personal introduction to get a better understanding of Moroccan life.

As our final goodbye, we’ll offer you a cup of Moroccan tea.  This is the perfect way chance to get more recommendations from your guide and set out to continue exploring our beautiful city.
