What is the cancellation policy?
We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour departure. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Helmets are not required but are available free of charge.
Will there be a basket on my bike or a way to carry my bag?
No, these bikes do not have a basket to carry any items. Please bring only what you need for the tour and/or a small backpack.
Is this tour appropriate for children?
Unfortunately, we do not have any road bikes appropriate for children, so this is an adults-only riders tour.
Do you have electric bikes?
No, we unfortunately do not have e-bikes, but our bikes are easy to ride cruiser bikes and the route is very flat.
Can I leave the tour early?
We kindly ask that once you depart with your guide, you intend on staying for the duration of the tour. The tour is about three hours long, so please plan accordingly.
How long is the ride?
This tour is 2.5 hours long covering about 12.4 miles/20 kilometers.
What cycling level do I need to have?
Guests should be able to comfortably cycle 13+ miles/20+ kilometers at a safe but moderate pace on crowded sidewalks, roads, uneven surfaces and through often testing conditions.
What are your covid policies, and will I need to wear a mask?
We sanitize all of our equipment, and masks must be worn both while cycling and when stopped.
Is water included or can I purchase some before the tour?
One non-alcoholic drink is included in the tour cost.
My group is larger than 4; can I still take this tour?
At this time, we are only accepting groups of 4 or less guests.
What kind of bikes do you have?
We use vintage Japanese Road bikes. You can expect drop handle bars and down tube shifters.
What if it rains?
In case of extremely inclement weather, we will reach out to postpone/reschedule the tour. If neither of those options are possible, we are happy to issue full refunds. We will continue with the tour in the event of light rain, so please be prepared!
Can I store my luggage at your shop during the tour?
Of course! You are welcome to store bags in our office while on tour.
