Ned

Ned hails from North Carolina and brings a southern "sophistifunk" rarely seen outside his hometown of Durham. After upping his street-cred and ripping through higher education in Baltimore, he set his sights on exploring the artistic and culinary explosions happening in France's capital. Armed with a love of history and encyclopedic mind for popular culture, he’s captivated by life in Paris because it's, in a word, epic.

John Paul

John Paul is from Webster Groves, MO and is in his third year at Fat Tire. He has a BA at Colorado College and a MA at Washington University in St. Louis, both in Political Economy. He loves walking out his door and purposely getting lost in order to discover new things about the greatest city in the world (Paris of course). He loves trying to immerse himself as much as possible into French culture (food, wine, festivals, language, etc.) in an effort to better understand his surroundings. Visit his blog: Living Cheap in France.

Sadie

Sadie is originally from New Columbia, Pennsylvania. She attended college at Messiah where she majored in Political Science and French. Since arriving in Paris a few years ago, her favorite pastimes have been picnics under the Eiffel Tower, playing tennis in the park, and riding just about anywhere on a bike.

Simon

Simon is a Yankee-Frog, dual citizen, and will lead his tours with gusto in the face of hostile locals that you may encounter while exploring the stone, steel and glass jungle. He is a Virgo and enjoys walks in the snow, not the beach. He has spent most of his time ‘growing up’ in Paris and New York and moved back to Paris with plans to be a teacher but became a tour guide instead, as he believes that history on the go is more fun than history in a classroom.

Andrew

Andrew was born in Philadelphia, PA, incarcerated for petty theft age 11, pulled it together at age 15 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison at age 24. His favorite place in Paris is Parc Floral. Unfortunately, he will not tell anyone (not even us) his favorite restaurant because he doesn't want to ruin it. His sage advice: if the menu is in English, leave the restaurant. His hobbies include biking (naturally), cooking, and reading. Andrew loves Paris the most while riding around early morning or late at night, when the streets are empty and he has the centuries old streets all to himself.

Jackson

Jackson enjoys a good afternoon ride along the Canal Saint-Martin and is often inclined to an evening performance at Opéra Bastille.

John

Raised in the tough, urban jungle of central Houston suburbia, John’s is a story of love conquering all. After winning two championships with the Houston Rockets, he decided to stay true to his roots and attend the University of Houston. Upon graduation, he found the call of international exploration irresistible. Paris has been the most captivating and inspiring city he has yet to come across. John’s hobbies include fencing, painting, and playing chess.

Billy

Travel is a passion of Billy’s, and an addiction. He was born in California and when he is in the U.S. he splits his time between beautiful Seattle and vibrant Austin. He has a degree from UNT focusing in psychology, music and anthropology. He loves to write and record dance ballads, and has a special knack for painting towns red...way red. When he is not at work bicycling, he is usually bicycling, either to a new park in some outer arrondissement that he has yet to explore, or to Caravan, one of the funkiest hip restaurants in Paris. He believes, without doubt, La Ville-Lumiere is most absolutely a moveable feast!

Amanda

Amanda is originally from Venezuela and has lived in sunny Florida for the last 12 years. Since she can remember, she has loved anything and everything French. Scott

Scott grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and went to Georgetown University studying all sorts of subjects but mostly Psychology and Spanish. He prides himself on being the funniest tour guide out there. His favorite thing to do is play tennis and he admits; he’s pretty good. Paris is one of the most amazing cities he’s ever been to or lived in and that is saying a lot because he has traveled to 35+ countries! He believes that there are more spectacular places, parks and boulevards than any one city should ever be privy to have; yet his favorite spot is the tip of Île de la Cité looking west across the Seine past the Louvre. He recommends Chez Gladine as one of the most delicious yet affordable priced restaurants in the entire city and no trip to Paris is complete without a visit.

Day Bike Tour

Thank You

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for a really fun day in France !! Our bike ride to Versailles was the highlight of our stay in Paris. Graham is a wonderful guide - he is really knowledgeable and personable - an excellent tour guide. Just getting all of us onto the train, with bikes, in 30 seconds or less was quite an accomplishment !! Being able to 'hang' in your office (with internet access !!!) and receiving Paris tips from the staff was just an added bonus. It was a life-saver for all the last minute changes we needed to make to our itinerary. Everyone in the office was GREAT - they made us feel very comfy and at home. Thank you so much. We will definitely book more tours next time we are in Paris.
