Guide Did An Excellent Job
I was in Paris this past week and took the city tour as well as Versailles. The day i went to Versailles, Graham was my tour guide and did an excellent job. On the train back from Versailles, I had left my backpack on the RER. When we got back to the shop, Graham went above and beyond in helping me with what knowledge he knew about the train and where I should first look in trying to find my backpack. His information was spot on and the first station that he sent me to my backpack had been turned in with everything still inside of it. I knew my chances were slim to none in even finding it and slimmer still having anything still in it, but luck was in my favor that day. I just wanted to let you know that Graham did more than he had to in helping me and I am greatfull for everything he did.

Learned More On Your Tours Than Any Other
On Saturday, August 23, we did the Versailles tour, and last night, August 25, we did the night tour of Paris. While the Paris tour was my fourth, it was the first for my wife, and the Versailles tour was a first for both of us. We had the best time, and learned more on your tours than any other. Adam is a special person, a true “teacher” and outstanding guide. I have worked in Paris for four years, and have not found anything that even compares to your product. Please pass along our compliments and gratitude to your guides and staff.

The Tours Are A MUST
Just wanted to say “Thanks” for the great bike tours! I was in Paris in August for a week and took 2 of your bike tours, 1 was the “Paris by night”, and the other was the “Versailles”. Both were AWESOME! Paris by night…leader “Peaches” was great!. He really motivated the group to “dominate” the streets of Paris. Ending with the River Seine cruise was the icing on the cake…if you will…what a great night! I met a bunch of wonderful people and saw some great things that I would have never seen if I had not taken the bike tour. I become more familiar with the city of Paris and “got my bearings” for later. The next day I took the Versailles bike tour…WOW! Graham was the lead for this tour…what a great guide! He was very knowledgeable on his Versailles history and was a great tour guide! I loved riding the bikes through the city onto the Palace grounds and around the Grand Canal for our picnic…then touring the palace itself. What a great time offered by both bike tours and both leaders were great in their own elements! ;o)
Since I have been home…I have “raved” to everyone about Fat Tire Bike Tours…and tell tell them all…the tours are a MUST! Thank-you for such a great experience and wonderful time!
I will be back…and I will take more tours!

Greatest Time
I’m not sure we ever wrote to you after our tours, but my family took the bike tour of Versailles and then later we did the nighttime Segway tour and we had the greatest time. Blake and Danielle were our guides and they were wonderful. It was our 20th anniversary and it was a great way to celebrate. Thanks!

Amazing Time
My husband and I recently took the Versailles tour in Paris. I just wanted to say that your team was absolutely fantastic and we had an amazing time. My husband and I actually had to come back early due to dinner reservations and your team was more than accommodating. Adam and Andrew looked after us all the way and ensured we were on the train back to Paris by 5pm. I don’t think any other tour company would have accommodated us like Fat Tire Bike Tours. I just want to congratulate Adam and Andrew on a great job and can’t wait to refer Fat Tire Bike Tours to all my friends. Thank you for a wonderful time in Versailles.

Planning on doing it again
Really, really, really enjoyed the bike tour we took. Had a group of 8 and we had a ball.
Teehan is an amazing guide. Lots of personality, lots of enthusiasm, lots of knowledge! He really made the trip.
Sending you many referrals and no doubt they will also enjoy.
I’m planning on doing it again when visitors come next month!

Best thing we did while in Paris

I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed the bike tour we took with your company earlier this month.
The tour itself was one of the best things we did while in Paris! Nick was very knowledgeable and interesting. We liked the mix of history with anecdotes and funny stories. He learned the names of everyone in the group which was pretty impressive. We also very much enjoyed the chance to ride a bike in the city - we were able to see so much more than we would on foot, but much more in depth than if we’d taken a bus tour. Nick did an excellent job of corralling us around Paris, including when we had to function as one big car and ride through the streets (this was one of our favorite parts!) The tour was the perfect thing to get us through our jet lag!
All in all, we enjoyed the bike tour and our experience with Fat Tire very much. The tips Nick gave us helped us plan the rest of our visit much more efficiently and we visited lots of wonderful places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Also, as we traveled around Paris the rest of the week, we were able to navigate better and feel more informed about the things we saw. On our next stop in Barcelona, we decided to take a tour there as well and had another wonderful experience. I will definitely be recommending Fat Tire to my friends!

Such Great Adventures
It has been on my mind to give you our thanks for such great adventures while in Paris. Our trip was in May and I still think about how great our vacation was because of our time spent on your tours. Our traveling troll took the tour with us as well and we all had a fabulous time. We took the day/night bike tours and the Monet’s Garden tour as well. By far the highlight of our trip. We wish you were in every city we go on vacation. Bronwin was our guide for the day bike tour and she was a big part in what made your tours so great. She is so good at what she does. Attached is a photo of our traveling troll on your bikes. This was his first trip. What a great one to take!

D-Day Beaches were phenomenal
To Everyone at Fat Tire Bike Tours in Paris - Je vous remercie tellement beaucoup (I hope that made sense!)
Four of us went on the D-Day Beaches Tour on Tuesday, March 6th and it was phenomenal. We were lucky in that we had a small group and even though the weather didn’t exactly cooperate we had a fantastic day. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour exceptionally enjoyable. For anyone who is interested in WWII history this tour is an absolute must. In fact, my husband and I enjoyed this tour so much we would like to return to the town of Bayeux some day in the near future and visit all these places again but make it last a few days rather than just one. However, with that being said, we certainly saw a lot in that one day and certainly received more than our money’s worth from the tour. It was a great day - just awesome. The directions to your office were great and you are easy to locate. Please keep up the good work and if anyone I know is going to Paris on vacation I will recommend that they contact you guys.Thanks again for everything and sorry it’s taken me a while to e-mail you what a great time we had.

Comfortable Bicycles
I recently went on two of your bike tours (day & night city tours) in Paris mid-July. Having travelled by bus, boat, metro and taxi throughout the city, your comfortable bicycles were, in my opinion, the best mode of transport! It was wonderful to see the city at a leisurely pace while taking in the sights and learning more about its’ history.
Having gone on the night bike tour was most definitely the best way to end my holiday in Paris. Not only did I have a great experience ... I also met some new friends along the way!
I would not hesitate to do this kind of city tour again ... it was awesome!

Highlight of my trip
Hello, I took the Paris night bike tour a few weeks ago and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I had so much fun. I went alone because my girlfriend wouldn’t go on a bike, and it was the best time. The bikes were so comfy and my tour guide was great. I wish I had found you guys when I was in Barcelona. I am definitely recommending your tour to a friend of mine visiting Paris soon. Thanks for offering such a great tour.

Guides were terrific
Well, we are back in New York. I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your tours. My family (husband and two teenage sons) took the Segway tour with Mike, and the Versailles bike tour with Mason. Both tours were fantastic. And both guides were terrific. They both made my sons feel comfortable and made our trips memorable.
We have friends who are planning on visiting Paris in the fall, and we are certainly going to recommend that they schedule something with Fat Bike Tours.

Idyllic Day
Bonjour! Just wanted to drop you folks a quick note to thank you once again for an absolutely idyllic day on our bike tour to Versailles last Tuesday. My head may be back home in Canada, but my heart remains in Paris - especially in the memories of our picnic at the end of the Grand Canal at Versailles - truly, that is a moment that I will never forget as long as I live. Thank you so much again for adding to the richness of the Versailles experience through your tour - I can’t imagine having experienced it any other way. Even the train ride back to Paris was an experience!

Fondest Memories
We wanted to thank Jake for the incredible job he did leading our bike tour of Versailles. It is just amazing to think about how he was able to take us through the streets of Paris, onto a train, into a market, and then on into Versailles while keeping it fun, interesting, and easy. And then for him to remember each one of our names! He genuinely seemed to care about every person on his tour—and also about Versailles. His stories about Versailles and its inhabitants were well-told and made the tour that much more enjoyable. And what could top that private picnic on the water’s edge, looking straight across at the palace? People we’ve told are in awe, and so are we. Thanks, Jake! You’ve helped create one of our fondest memories.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for a really fun day in France !! Our bike ride to Versailles was the highlight of our stay in Paris. Graham is a wonderful guide - he is really knowledgeable and personable - an excellent tour guide. Just getting all of us onto the train, with bikes, in 30 seconds or less was quite an accomplishment !! Being able to ‘hang’ in your office (with internet access !!!) and receiving Paris tips from the staff was just an added bonus. It was a life-saver for all the last minute changes we needed to make to our itinerary. Everyone in the office was GREAT - they made us feel very comfy and at home. Thank you so much. We will definitely book more tours next time we are in Paris.

Our Embassy in Paris
I recently returned from vacationing in Europe and I’m glad I finally have e-mail access so I can let you know how much fun I had on our tours with you. We went on the night tour with Jordan and then to Versailles the next day with Toby. Both Jordan and Toby were great guides and made the bike tours the highlight of my trip! We biked the Loire River Valley the next week…very nice….but not the same as your tours!!! Your shop is a great place for the American tourist to take break and let their guard down. You have done a great job of making your business friendly and comfortable. I referred to your shop as our Embassy in Paris!

Most Fun Ever
Bonjour! The only thing my wife can say is “it was the most fun ever!”. Our Night tour with you guys was absolutely magical and the Versailles tour (we took it because the night was so good!) was my favorite day of our trip. 7 hours in those gardens were the perfect vacation. I will tell everyone that even dreams about going to Paris to ride with you guys. Merci Beaucoup!
