2011 Tour Guides

The son of a true Cockney, Rich enters his second year as a veteran of both Fat Tire London and Paris. He’s made his decision…and he’s back in England! Occasionally mistaken for Vince Vaughn, Eddie Izzard, and/or Oliver Reed, Rich will soon become a household name in his own right (perhaps for his Zeus like calves).

The owner of three legal passports and five bicycles, Liam kicks off 2010 wearing two hats: Assistant Manager and Tour Guide Extraordinaire. Encourage Liam to chat with you about his darker days spent in Cape Town, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam…because he won’t talk to us about them.

Born in Spain, but raised in South London, David is sure to enhance your time in London. In his second full year with Fat Tire London, David brings his love for this city combined with the influences of time spent in Brooklyn, NY and Cali, Columbia. Also, ask him to make you a mix CD. They’re really good.

With Matt, plan on spending quality time with someone capable of answering any London question (challenge him…seriously) in English or Portuguese. Raised in North London and beginning his second year as a guide, the only thing that might match Matt’s passion for the Capital would be Arsenal FC or fixing flat tyres in the pouring rain.

First cutting his teeth in Paris in 2006 and now managing Fat Tire London, you’re more likely to interact with David via email, helping with bicycles, and/or selling t-shirts. Don’t be fooled, David can lead a wicked tour…but with a role that can best be surmised as “Jack of All Trades, Master of Nothing”, you’re more likely to be led around by one of the above guides.
Best Way We Saw Any City
This is far and away the best way we saw any city in our time in Europe. The guide was great the bikes were fun, even though I had not been on a bike in a while. The service was personal and the value was amazing. If you want to learn, see, and have fun - this is the place!
